South Wales Police & Crime Panel (Dec)
The Police and Crime Commissioner is subject to scrutiny by a Police and Crime Panel, which provides…
On an annual basis the Commissioner consults with the public to understand their views on:
- police precept contributions (the amount we contribute towards policing as part of our Council Tax)
- policing priorities
- views and feedback on the service provided by South Wales Police
Our consultation is made available online, via paper copy and Easy Read. The Commissioner's team also schedule face-to-face sessions with communities to ensure we reach a wider audience.
The information and feedback gathered from our consultation assists the Commissioner in his decision-making when setting the precept level for the year ahead as well as informing his Police and Crime Plan.
Our previous consultations summary reports are available below.
You can find out more information about the police precept and your contribution towards local policing in our 'Our Policing Contribution' leaflet.
|There are currently no live consultations. The police precept 2021/22 survey closed on the 9th December 2020. Thank you to everyone who took part in this survey.|
