In addition to scheduled community engagement activities throughout the year, the Commissioner also launches an annual community survey, to seek feedback from the wider public about:
- policing priorities / community concerns
- views and feedback on the service provided by South Wales Police
- police precept contributions (the amount we contribute towards policing as part of our Council Tax)
The information and feedback gathered from our survey assists the Commissioner's decision in considering the options for setting the police precept and enables us to to consider the delivery of community safety work.
